Application effect of quality control circle activities in improving the tooth brushing compliance rate of perioperative patients
品管圈活动在提高围手术期患者刷牙执行率的应用效果

摘要

目的 品管圈（Quality Control Circle, QCC）在口腔护理中的运用逐渐推广、完善及规范化。但目前尚缺少针对QCC对刷牙执行率有益效果的评价。本研究旨在通过对品管圈活动运用前后刷牙情况的比较，探讨其对提高颌面外科围手术期患者刷牙执行率的应用效果。方法 收集2024年4月至6月自贡市第四人民医院口腔颌面外科接受口腔手术的患者共120例，将实施常规护理的患者共61例纳入对照组，在常规护理的基础上开展QCC的患者共59例纳入观察组。统计两组患者开展QCC前后的刷牙执行率，包括刷牙时长、刷牙次数、刷牙方法、工具选择、牙膏选择等。结果 经比较，观察组经过QCC干预，在刷牙时长、刷牙次数、刷牙方法、工具选择、牙膏选择等情况较活动前均明显改善，差异有统计学意义( p＜0.05)，而对照组无明显变化（p>0.05）。结论 QCC活动能有效提高围手术期患者刷牙执行率。

Abstract

Objective The application of Quality Control Circle (QCC) in oral care has been gradually popularized, optimized and standardized. Nevertheless, there is still insufficient evidence evaluating the beneficial effect of QCC on toothbrushing compliance. This study aimed to explore the application effect of QCC activities on improving toothbrushing compliance among perioperative patients in oral and maxillofacial surgery by comparing oral hygiene status before and after QCC implementation.
Methods A total of 120 patients who underwent oral surgery in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Zigong Fourth People’s Hospital, from April to June 2024 were enrolled. Among them, 61 patients receiving routine nursing were assigned to the control group, and 59 patients receiving QCC intervention combined with routine nursing were included in the observation group. The toothbrushing compliance of the two groups before and after intervention was statistically analyzed, including brushing duration, brushing frequency, brushing methods, and the selection of oral cleaning tools and toothpaste.
Results After QCC intervention, the observation group presented significant improvements in brushing duration, brushing frequency, brushing techniques, and the selection of cleaning tools and toothpaste, with statistically significant differences (p<0.05); whereas no significant changes were observed in the control group (p>0.05).
Conclusion   QCC activities can effectively improve the toothbrushing compliance of perioperative patients.
